NBA Releases Flopping Rules
It started last decade with Vlade Divac and has been a controversial act since among the NBA and its fans. Nobody likes a flopper. Now the league has announced a procedure to discipline basketball’s divers and actors.
The first violation, the NBA will decide who the transgressors are, will come off with a warning. The second through fifth violations will come with fines escalating up to $30,000. The sixth violation will be dealt with by the league in a case by case basis.
Fans have always wanted flops dealt with discipline, and now they’ll get their wish.
