They have agreed to send Joe Johnson to the Nets for Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro, Anthony Morrow, Jordan Williams, DeShawn Stevenson and a lottery protected first round pick from Houston. Howard Beck reports that the trade is not contingent on Deron Williams staying in Brooklyn but that he was in favor of the move. They also shed a lot of salary by sending Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris.
-What now for Dwight Howard? Ric Bucher reports that Dallas is atop his trade list. The Lakers aren’t on the trade list for now. A possible option for Howard could be Atlanta, but they may be trading Josh Smith next.
-HoopsWorld: At least one team has considered offering Jeremy Lin a “poison pill” offer that is backloaded at the end of the contract. Toronto, Dallas and Brooklyn are interested along with New York. *Golden State is the frontrunner for J.J. Hickson.

-All indications are that Dwight Howard blew his chance to go to the Nets in March. *Chad Ford reports that DeShawn Stevenson will make $6.9 million over three years, likely with the Hawks. Only the first year will be guaranteed at $2.3 million.

-The Nets have agreed to send Jordan Williams, Johan Petro, Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow and a sign-and-trade of DeShawn Stevenson to Atlanta for Joe Johnson, says Adrian Wojnarowski. Brooklyn will also send a protected 2013 first-round pick via Houston. For now, this is contingent upon Deron Williams re-signing with the Nets.
