Philadelphia Eagles Announce Partnership With…Angry Birds??

You would think that football and Angry Birds go well together like ESPN and chick flicks, but the Philadelphia Eagles had another idea. Apparently, the bird is the word.

Rovio entertainment, the creator of time wasting apps led by its flagship Angry Birds, announced a partnership with the franchise, as reported by ProFootballTalk. The big news was a possible incorporation of the actual team into the game. Perhaps Andy Reid would make things heavier, DeSean Jackson would make things faster and Michael Vick would allow you to sling pigs further. Either way it’s a seemingly bizarre partnership, but one that could expand Rovio’s reach into the tens of millions of NFL fans around the world. Will we be seeing an Eagles Angry Birds character in the fall?
