NBA Trade Rumors 12/28

-Houston wants to retool by dealing the expiring Yao Ming contract along with other trade exceptions and wants young players or picks back. They talked with Sacramento and Charlotte but the Kings won’t deal DeMarcus Cousins and the Bobcats will deal players like Boris Diaw or Nazr Mohammed along with picks. Detroit is not interested in Yao.
-Speaking of the Kings, star PG Tyreke Evans is considering surgery on his foot that could keep him out 3-4 months but may delay the procedure until the All-Star break or even the offseason.
-Cleveland is reportedly a willing and able third team in a big blockbuster trade and would like to improve on the cheap. The Cavs are looking at many D-Leaguers like Kyle Weaver and Marcus Landry.
-Speaking of the D-League, that’s where Warriors rookie Jeremy Lin will be going. There’s a good chance Jordan Crawford of the Hawks will join him.
-Smush Parker could replace Steve Francis in China.
