-Hold your horses on the Jordan Farmar signing. Yahoo! reports that the Nets and Farmar are still discussing a three year deal and FanHouse says that the Nets are just one of four offers Farmar is still considering.

-Minnesota wants to trade Ramon Sessions, who they signed last year to a four year deal worth $16 million, so they can sign Luke Ridnour for four years and $16 million. KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
7:10 p.m. Eastern
-New Jersey signed Jordan Farmar to a three year deal worth $12 million. Farmar will get a larger role with the Nets but people expected him to go for a starting gig. He’ll sit behind Devin Harris in NJ barring a trade.
6:50 p.m. Eastern
-One prominent agent called Wes Matthews’ offer sheet with Portland “crazy” and there was no reason for Utah to match.

-Memphis has signed G Tony Allen to a three year deal worth $10 million.
4:30 p.m. Eastern
-Dorrell Wright’s three year, $11.5 million deal with Golden State has been agreed to in principle. This likely means the Warriors will let Anthony Morrow depart to New Jersey.

-How LeBron James really came to his decision. Spike Lee believes there was a conspiracy all the way.
-Orlando will likely match the Bulls’ offer sheet for JJ Redick but GM Otis Smith isn’t entirely sure yet.
-The Knicks are excited about rebuilding, including a two year, $15 million deal for Raymond Felton and Russian C Timofey Mozgov signed for three years and $9.7 million. He was a nice 24-year-old, 7’1 bench player at Khimcki Moscow. The Knicks may look to package Wilson Chandler and Eddy Curry for more size and don’t think Chandler can handle the two. They had interest in Rasaul Butler, Tony Battie and Theo Ratliff before going with Mozgov. They have enough room for one minimum signing.
-Cleveland has interested in Josh Childress, Kyle Lowry, Qyntel Woods and Al Jefferson.
-Atlanta hasn’t offered a contract to Shaq yet and are also interested in Brad Miller, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Kurt Thomas, Kwame Brown and Anthony Tolliver.
-Miami made a compelling offer to free agent G Derek Fisher, who wants to come back the Lakers but isn’t getting the two years and $10 million he wants. He won’t get that from the Heat either so we’ll see if LA calls his bluff. Miami wants Fisher to be the starting PG. Miami wants to sign Zydrunas Ilgauskas at the veteran minimum and Juwon Howard.
-HoopsWorld interview with free agent Al Harrington.
-Golden State is unsure whether they’ll match New Jersey’s three year, $12 million offer sheet for Anthony Morrow but did sign Dorrell Wright for three years and $11 million.
-Other news yesterday included Portland signing Wesley Matthews to a five year, $34 million offer sheet and New Jersey signing Johan Petro to a three year deal worth $10 million. New Orleans signed Luther Head.

  1. coach says :

I think brad miller and d fisher could give a lot of toughness and heart But they would have to accept getting paid crumbs. I can see miller taking crumbs not fisher who’s already a proven winner. Mia amy needs a big center and a shooter and they need them to be cheap as well mia will see a lot of zone and I dnt like wade or james shooting jump shots all game. We need a shooter and I think eddie house would be a pretty good fit along with brad miller
