11:30 p.m. Eastern
-There has been some chatter about a Gilbert Arenas-Vince Carter trade.
-Golden State has an offer on the table to send Dan Gadzuric and Andris Biedrins to Denver for Kenyon Martin.
-Detroit would take Greg Monroe if he fell to 7th.
-Memphis offered Boston 25 and 28 for 19 and New Jersey offered 27 and 31.
10:40 p.m. Eastern
-Ken Berger’s Buzz: Chris Paul is going nowhere. The top five is Wall, Turner, Favors, Johnson, Cousins. New Jersey is trying to get a pick in the 20′s from Minnesota to move up one spot. Thus all the Nets-Wesley Johnson talk. Elton Brand is very available as are Al Jefferson, Beno Udrih and Francisco Garcia. Tony Parker can be had in the right deal as can Jose Calderon and Hedo Turkoglu. OKC is still going after the 10th pick.
-Toronto, Chicago, Houston and Miami have discussed Rudy Fernandez with the Raptors possibly dealing the 13th pick. (Though the Raps balked at that). Chicago offered the 17th pick and the Wizards offered Nick Young. The Knicks’ offer wasn’t enough.
10:30 p.m. Eastern
-The OKC-Indiana trade looks doubtful right now as the Pacers continue to look for a young guard.
-It looks like DeMarcus Cousins for Sacramento.
-Is Sam Presti the best GM at building assets, overtaking Kevin Pritchard?
-Dallas, New York and Cleveland are trying to trade their way into the first round with OKC and Memphis asking for $3 million and one of the Knicks‘ second round picks.
9:30 p.m. Eastern
-Chad Ford Buzz: Chris Paul isn’t going anywhere. Derrick Favors has reemerged as the favorite to go third to the Nets and the Wesley Johnson-Carlos Boozer package deal is squashed. Minnesota continues to try and trade Al Jefferson. Sacramento will take DeMarcus Cousins 5th if Favors and Johnson are gone. Golden State wouldn’t mind trading the 6th pick but would want any team to also take Monta Ellis. Ekpe Udoh has the edge if they keep it. Detroit wants Cousins but will settle for Ed Davis or Greg Monroe. Toronto offered the 13th pick to Portland for Rudy Fernandez and the 22nd but the Blazers have been reluctant to give up that much. OKC is trying to get the 10th pick from Indiana.
-Chicago may send Luol Deng and the 17th pick to the Clippers for the 8th pick.
-Ekpe Udoh looks like the Warriors’ choice at 6.
-Utah’s wish list at 9: Greg Monroe, Luke Babbitt, Gordon Hayward.
-Oklahoma City could take Cole Aldrich if they trade up for 10 with Indiana possibly choosing Eric Bledsoe 18th but not Avery Bradley.
-Memphis loves Paul George at 12.
-New York may move up to take Darrington Hobson. Newsday has the story. Shout to KnickBlog and my man Michael for checking in.
8:40 p.m. Eastern
-Oklahoma City is in serious talks with Indiana about acquiring the 10th pick in exchange for the 18th and 21st picks along with PG (Pacers need that badly) Eric Maynor.
-Golden State likes Udoh’s athleticism, midrange jumper, defense and work ethic.
8:30 p.m. Eastern
-Ekpe Udoh is now the frontrunner for the Warriors’ 6th pick. Greg Monroe and Al-Farouq Aminu are still being considered.
-Apparently Portland has better offers for Rudy Fernandez than New York’s so a Knicks trade won’t happen.
-If Miami waives James Jones, they have the money to resign Dwayne Wade to a max deal, another max player and another $10 million player.
7:30 p.m. Eastern
-Minnesota is offering Al Jefferson, 16 and 23 to Detroit for Tayshaun Prince, 7 and Chris Wilcox. The Pistons will likely reject.
-David Aldridge points out that Miami just saved over $3 million in cap space. Michael Beasley, James Jones and Mario Chalmers are the only three players under contract.
-Eric Bledsoe is rising up a lot of draft boards and he had a good workout with Boston, who pick 19th.
-There seems to be a lot of misdirection going around on who the Nets will pick.
-Paul George compares himself to Tracy McGrady.
-Marcus Thompson’s draft sleepers.
6:30 p.m. Eastern
-The Al Jefferson-Zach Randolph rumor is now dead. Minnesota wanted a better player and Memphis didn’t want to give up picks.
-There’s a fire sale in Golden State and everyone except for Stephen Curry is currently available.
-Oklahoma City could be looking at Larry Sanders with their newly acquired 18th overall pick.
-Washington is trying to move up from the 30th pick and the 35th pick could be in play.
-The Knicks called up Rutgers for Hamady Ndaiye’s paperwork today.
5:40 p.m. Eastern
-Looking for more cap space, Miami could send Daequan Cook and the 18th pick to Oklahoma City for the 32nd pick.
5:30 p.m. Eastern
-It looks like Greg Monroe or Ekpe Udoh for Golden State at 6. They would take DeMarcus Cousins in a heartbeat but he seems headed for Sacramento.
-A large, in-depth look at Hassan Whiteside.
-Charlotte is trying to trade for a pick.
Afternoon Update
-Sources say the Kings have decided to take DeMarcus Cousins with the 5th overall pick.
-Among the many Minnesota offers, the one with the most legs is an Al Jefferson-Zach Randolph swap with Memphis. One source was optimistic it could get done. Other Jefferson offers included Tayshaun Prince and Troy Murphy. Another developed rumor has Jefferson and the 16th going for Randolph and the 12th.
-Yahoo! Draft Buzz: Daniel Orton could fall out of the first round, Denver won’t trade Ty Lawson, New Jersey or Washington could take Tiny Gallon in the first round and the Wizards also like Quincy Pondexter at 30.
-There have been talks about a Rudy Fernandez to New York deal for either Wilson Chandler or Toney Douglas and a 2nd round pick.
-Boston is shopping the 19th pick but if they keep it look for them to take either Jordan Crawford, Damion James, Larry Sanders, Trevor Booker or James Anderson not Solomon Alabi.
-Portland really likes Dominique Jones and could take him 22nd.
-Cleveland (among many other teams) are still trying to buy a pick.
-Jon Rothstein goes through five possible 2nd round picks for the Knicks and their potential impact. How abot Ryan Wittman?
Lunchtime Update
-Evan Turner said he’s be pretty shocked if he wasn’t a Sixer tomorrow night.
-New Jersey will get a 2012 2nd round pick from Milwaukee for Chris Douglas-Roberts.
-Indiana has inquired about Darren Collison, Jonny Flynn, Ty Lawson and George Hill but they’re reluctant to deal Brandon Rush and Josh McRoberts. At 10, they’ll likely take a big man like Ekpe Udoh, Daniel Orton or Ed Davis. Gordon Hayward is expected to be passed up.
-Sources still say that the Nets will probably take Derrick Favors third. But there’s a lot of conflicting report.
-Mo Williams to Sacramento for Beno Udrih and the 5th pick? Seems a bit outlandish. They’re also testing the market for Delonte West and Portland’s Andre Miller came up.
-It doesn’t look like Don Nelson is calling the shots for Golden State anymore.
-Houston could move into the top 10 right now but are weighing their options.
-It seems like the Knicks are going to move up and Greivis Vazquez is climbing up the Knicks draft board and if they can move into the first round they’ll target Darington Hobson, Vazquez and Craig Brackins in that order. Mickhail Torrence is another possibility. Philly really liked Wes Johnson’s workout.
-Philly wants to trade Elton Brand. Good luck without giving up Evan Turner as well.
-Boston had Damion James in for a workout.
-A lot of teams like Latavious Williams as a 2nd round pick.
8 a.m. Eastern
-From Chad Ford’s ESPN Radio spot this morning. Wesley Johnson and Carlos Boozer have the same agent so there are rumors that they could go to the Nets in a package deal. Trades could start at the Kings at five, who aren’t enamored by their options. Detroit could move from seven to take DeMarcus Cousins. Indiana has been the most active team, could they give the 10th pick to San Antonio for Tony Parker?
-More on the Johnson-Boozer package deal, though one source still has Derrick Favors going 3rd.
7:05 a.m. Eastern
-The Nets and Bucks are working on a deal that would send Chris Douglas-Roberts to Milwaukee. It was originally thought New Jersey would get either the 44th or 47th pick but now the two sides are working on future considerations. New Jersey is narrowing their list for the 3rd pick.
-Both the Knicks and Nets are trying to acquire the 23rd pick from Minnesota. The Knicks could be going after Darington Hobson or Armon Johnson. They also like Tibor Pleiss, Aristom Parakhouski and Brian Zoubek.
-Lots of possibilities for Memphis include trading up with Minnesota (25 and 28 for 16) or down with Portland (25 or 28 for 34 and $3 million).
-Indiana worked out Gordon Hayward on Tuesday.
