Robert Frost Report
Fire
Charlotte Bobcats- Five consecutive wins has Charlotte off to their best ever start at 20-19 in an underrated Southeast Division. Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson have been huge for Coach of the Year candidate Larry Brown.
Memphis Grizzlies- Lionel Hollins should also be among the frontrunners for Coach of the Year as the Grizzlies have won four in a row after their MLK Day win over Phoenix. They have a good young core with good scoring balance.
LA Lakers- The Lakers are back on another three game winning streak as they improve their NBA best record after a win over last year’s East champion Orlando on Monday.
Denver Nuggets- With Portland struggling from a rash of injuries, Denver has won three straight to open up a two game lead. Ty Lawson and some of the bench players came through in a Sunday win over Utah.
Ice
New Jersey Nets- The worst team’s newest losing streak stands at eight games as they try to play out the stretch while trying to trade some assets to improve their salary cap situation.
Phoenix Suns- Phoenix is now just six games over .500 after their fourth straight defeat at the hands of Memphis on Monday. They lost to Charlotte, Atlanta and Indiana on their four game trip and now come home to face some lesser teams.
Sacramento Kings- Sacramento is also on a four game skid after losing to Philly, Washington and Charlotte on the road and it only gets worse from here. Atlanta, Orlando and Miami are next on the road and the losing streak may only grow from here.
Orlando Magic- Orlando and Boston have been struggling lately, with the Magic on a three game slide after falling to the Lakers on Monday. They lost to good teams on the road in Portland and Denver and they’ll host Indiana and Sacramento to end the streak.

Boston Wants KryptoNate
