B-Roy extended, Rambis frontrunner
Brandon Roy and the Portland Trailblazers have agreed in principle to a 5 year extension worth between $78-82 million. Roy will be traveling to Oregon to sign the deal on Thursday.
Kurt Rambis has emerged as the frontrunner to land the head coaching spot in Minnesota according to Yahoo Sports. Though a contract has not been offered yet, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation say that Minnesota is leaning towards choosing Rambis. The Wolves are expected to make a decision within the next few days.
Austin Daye, the Pistons’ first round pick, has signed a two year rookie contract with the Detroit Pistons after impressing the organization in summer league. The following two seasons of the contract are team options.
